AC/DC STREAM ‘ROCK OR BUST’ ALBUM EARLY Date: 11/27/2014 Views: 0
On December 2, the legendary rock band will release their 16th studio album, “Rock or Bust”. One of the singles, “Play Ball”, has already been released on October 7, but the great news is that the entire album is now streaming in full as part asiTunes’ “First Play” program.
“Rock or Bust” is the band’s first album in six years, the last one being 2008’s “Black Ice”. The new album has been recorded earlier this year at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver and is the first one in the band’s history without founding member Malcom Young who was diagnosed with dementia and replaced by his nephew Stevie Young.
Most of the songs on the new album were created by Angus Young from material recorded for previous album and, at less than 35 minutes, it’s AC/DC’s shortest album ever, two minutes shorter than “Flick of the Switch” released in 1993.
The band has also announced their plans for a tour in 2015, but it is still unclear whether Phil Rudd will be part of that tour. The drummer is currently facing legal issues after being charged with drug possession earlier this month.
AC/DC ‘Rock or Bust’ album is currently available for pre-order at Amazon and iTunes.
